St. Catharine’s Sunday School
We meet every Sunday morning during term-time from 11.00am – 12.00noon in the Church Hall. All children from the age of 4years are welcome and parents/carers are also welcome to stay. We do not have an upper age limit.
At present we have 25-30 members with up to 20 children being present on any one occasion. These are allocated to three classes:- Infants 4-7 years old, Juniors 7+ -10 years old and Seniors: 10+ years old. There are three teachers and two helpers.
We have a Child Protection Policy which fulfils the requirements set down by the Diocese. There are always at least three adults present during Sunday School sessions.
Our aims are to welcome children into an extended Church family and to provide interesting and fun activities in a Christian environment. These activities include music, drama,Bible stories, prayers, craft and art.
We hold Family Services to mark Christian Festivals approximately six times a year. These are held in St. Catharine’s Church and are presented by the children.
